Under the supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular and Bariatric Services, the Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in advancing the department's commitment to patient care and enhancing staff adaptability through effective cross-training.
This role requires the individual to deliver exceptional nursing care, perform hemodynamic assessments, assist in surgical procedures, respond to emergency calls, manage post-procedure care, and transport patients as needed.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing both direct and indirect quality patient care, aligning with the mission of CHRISTUS Health. It is anticipated that the associate will actively contribute to the strategic objectives and performance improvement initiatives of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English is required, with bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish; English/French) preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Critical Care Unit (CCU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Cardiac Nursing is preferred.
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting is highly desirable.
- Current RN License in Louisiana.
- Valid BLS Certification.
- Valid ACLS Certification.
Work Schedule:
To be determined.
Work Type:Per Diem, as needed.
