About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Sand Canyon Medical Group. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Assist physicians with patient care, including preparing patients for procedures and providing support during exams.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to radiation safety guidelines.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and occasional patient scheduling.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as an X-Ray Technician or Limited License X-Ray Technician.
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
