Pharmacy Director Job Description

Veracity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall direction and management of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Leadership: Provide administrative oversight and guidance to the pharmacy team, ensuring seamless daily operations and effective management of resources.
  • Departmental Development: Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to drive departmental excellence and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance services, quality, and patient safety.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the pharmacy team, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with physicians, specialists, and other clinicians to implement evidence-based guidelines and protocols for drug use.
  • Drug Information: Provide current and accurate information on drug therapy to nurses, physicians, and other pharmacists.
