Job Summary
We're seeking a New Home Sales Trainee in our Washington DC Division to work specifically in the Stafford area. This position will train to be an on-site New Home Sales Representative, providing customers with information about products, financing, warranty, and construction. The training program will equip you with the tools and knowledge to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Understand and utilize all sales forms, procedures, contracts, and policies.
- Prospect for new clients and qualify buyers.
- Present the company's products in a professional manner.
- Successfully complete all sections of the Trainee Program Manual.
- Display a thorough knowledge of the company's product lines, subdivisions, and relative community facilities.
- Greet all prospective customers and demonstrate the model home.
- Ensure the model home site is well maintained and presentable.
Requirements
- Proficient in the use of computer technology.
- 1-2 years prior successful sales experience (in retail or service environment a plus) required.
- 2-3 years prior customer service experience (in retail or service environment a plus) required.
- 2-year associate degree and/or 2 years of applicable experience preferred.
