Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at ProHealth Care. As an integral part of our Operating Room team, you will assist the RN and/or physician in providing exceptional patient care.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring readiness and organization of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and assemble equipment necessary for invasive procedures, collaborating with the Anesthesiologist as needed.
• Activate anesthesia machines daily, performing leak tests and calibrating oximeters.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency situations and difficult airway equipment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care in a cost-effective environment.
• Have working knowledge of anesthesia agents, reversal agents, analgesics, and anti-emetics.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a program for anesthesia tech, surgical tech, or previous anesthesia tech or EMT experience preferred.
• BLS through AHA.
