About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team to deliver packages to residential and business locations. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work safely in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver packages to businesses and residences
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to queries and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, using scanners to track progress

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Pass a drug test and regular random screens throughout employment
• Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination
• Be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use a hand truck to handle heavier loads
• Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work, arriving on time and ready to start each day
• Be able to climb stairs and work in all types of weather
• Possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $800-$960 per week, plus opportunities for production bonuses and a $300 year-end holiday bonus. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental, health, and vision insurance.

Daily Duties and Work Environment

Your daily duties will include operating a vehicle safely, making deliveries and pickups, performing daily inspections, loading and unloading packages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records. You will work independently and as part of a team, with regular feedback and coaching to support your success.
