Maintenance Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at ICL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process maintenance job requests and generate work orders to allow proper scheduling and execution of jobs by the maintenance workforce.
  • Develop detailed job plans, including scope, resources, and timelines, to ensure effective maintenance execution.
  • Collaborate with maintenance leads and business unit leaders to populate the maintenance schedule and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and verify correct field identification numbers, and solicit engineering analysis and support as needed.
  • Manage procurement card and expenses, and maintain and update work request and work order backlog.
  • Create, maintain, and review PMs in SAP, and file and maintain work order history.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience, with a focus on industrial applications.
  • Three or more years of maintenance experience, with supervisory experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Basic knowledge of all crafts and craft methods, plant systems, layouts, and unit interaction, and safety procedures and requirements.
  • Maintenance planning software experience (SAP) is preferred.
