We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our rehabilitation programs.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and perform systems reviews to identify areas of improvement.
- Evaluate patients, make clinical judgments, and develop patient diagnoses or problem lists.
- Develop patient prognoses, create plans of care, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education, training, and support to ensure successful rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with hospital departments and community agencies to deliver coordinated care.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, meet department productivity standards, and provide clinical supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians.
- Meets educational requirements for obtaining professional licensure in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Physical Therapist in Iowa.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three months from date of hire.
- Fluent English language skills, multicultural sensitivity, and basic computer skills.
