Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Worker to join our team at Autumn Leaves Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a vital member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain food temperatures to ensure the quality and safety of our meals.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as work areas and floors.
  • Assist in food preparation, including cooking, cleaning, and storing food and supplies.
  • Deliver food trays to residents and assist with serving meals in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Administrator, such as setting up meals, preparing fruits and vegetables, and assisting with food distribution.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a healthcare or food service environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as well as weekends and holidays.
