Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of multiple properties, ensuring smooth functionality.
  • Act as the primary representative for the property, engaging with potential residents and showcasing the benefits of our community.
  • Prioritize exceptional service to ensure residents feel valued and at home.
  • Collaborate with tenants and maintenance teams to address and resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Uphold lease agreements and ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with regulations from RD, HUD, DHCR, HFA, and other relevant agencies.
  • Prepare and submit various reports to the Regional Property Manager and other departments as required.
  • Handle move-out processes and maintain accurate records in our management system.
  • Organize and manage resident files, lease renewals, and financial documentation.
  • Ensure timely lease renewals and manage the associated documentation.
  • Monitor rental payments and prepare financial reports for internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in RD HUD/LIHTC/Affordable Housing is essential.
  • Experience with RD is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Section 8 and Tax Credit programs is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as TCS and COS are required; ARM certification is recommended.
  • Strong skills in leasing, financial management, and team leadership are necessary.
  • USDA RD and Fair Housing certifications are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are a must.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to multitask effectively are essential.
  • Ability to interact diplomatically with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software is required.
  • Flexibility to manage a varied schedule and respond to property emergencies is important.
  • A genuine desire to learn and grow within the role is highly valued.
