As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials.

Responsibilities:

* Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scans
* Prepare and administer radioactive materials to patients
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
* Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

* 1 year of recent experience in nuclear medicine
* AHA BLS certification
* ARRT (with nuclear medicine specialty) or NMTCB certification
* Epic experience required
* Preferred: PET/CT experience

Schedule:

* 8-hour shifts, staggered between 8am and 5pm
* Support needed 7 days a week

* Outpatient, inpatient, OR room, ER
* Types of cases and/or scans: PILL AND WHOLE BODY SCAN, I-131 PILL AND WHOLE BODY SCAN, GASTRIC EMPTYING, WHOLE BODY BONE SCAN, 3 PHASE BONE SCAN, LIMITED BONE SCAN, PARATHYROID SCAN, PERFUSION LUNG SCAN, PERFUSION/VENTILATION LUNG SCAN, QUANTITATIVE LUNG SCAN, UREA BREATH TEST, GI BLEED, LIVER SPLEEN SCAN, WBC SCAN, GALLIUM SCAN, DAT SCAN, BRAIN SPECT, HIDA SCAN, HIDA W CCK SCAN, SPECT BONE SCAN, BONE MARROW IMAGING, RESIDUAL BLADDER VOLUME, CEREBRAL SPECT NEUROLITE OR CERETEC ISOTOPE, CEREBRAL PERFUSION, CEREBRAL SCAN STATIC, CISTERNOGRAM, BONE THERAPY, MUGA SCAN, MECKEL'S SCAN, LYMPHOSCINTIGRAPHY SCAN, LYMPHOSCINTIGRAPHY INJECTION ONLY, ADRENAL IMAGING

Additional Details:

* Charting system: Epic
* 3-month separation
* Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of Providence and specialty-specific modules, independently, before being cleared to work
* Core Modules: Allied: (6.5 hours)
