Job Summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Northwest Arkansas is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to address patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Arkansas.
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
