Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Care: Conduct thorough physical examinations, compile patient medical data, and develop patient management plans.
- Order and Perform Therapeutic Procedures: Order or perform injections, immunizations, and basic wound care as needed.
- Counsel and Educate Patients: Instruct patients on compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Develop and Implement Patient Management Plans: Follow hospitalized patients as appropriate, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Medical Records: Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record System and ensure accurate and timely billing submission.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health.
- Credentials: MD or DO from an accredited medical school, Board certified or board eligible, Connecticut License, Federal and State controlled substance licenses, BLS certification, and eligible for hospital privileges.
- Skills: Effective communication, listening, and customer service skills.
