QTS Data Centers is seeking a highly skilled Project Budget Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role is eligible for a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000 per annum.

Job Description

The Project Budget Optimization Specialist will be responsible for managing project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy, and optimizing cost efficiency. This position involves leading and collaborating with various stakeholders, including cost consultants, project management teams (internal and external), and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee budget reconciliation, vendor budget reallocation, and project budget corrections.
  • Facilitate cost touchpoints and communication with cost consultants and CM cost managers.
  • Oversee contract administration, tracking, and reporting.
  • Manage subcontractor spend, financial validations, and forecast projected expenditures.
  • Drive process efficiency and software proficiency within the team.
  • Oversee change management, allowance, and buyout tracking.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, financing, or accounting; or relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Workday, e-Builder).
  • Seven or more years of experience in construction or project management.
