Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans to address these needs and promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote health and well-being.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, as well as report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Education: Current IL RN License Required
- Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Certification required within 12 months of hire, PALS certification required within 2 years of hire
- Experience: Registered Nurse minimum 2 years Preferred
- Strong Computer Skills: Ability to navigate EMR programs with ease
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations
