Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing interventions as indicated for the care and safety of patients
- Administer medications according to prescribed orders in a timely manner
- Document medication and procedures implemented into the medical record
- Transcribe orders accurately and audit the medical record for accuracy
- Assume the role of patient advocate and provide education to patients and families
- Communicate with other members of the nursing team to fulfill patient needs
- Assist with activities of daily living and encourage independence
- Certification from an approved Practical/Vocational Nursing Program
- License to practice as a LPN in the state
- One year LPN experience preferred
