Cedar Point Maintenance Carpenter Job Description

Cedar Point is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Maintenance Division. This seasonal position involves performing carpentry work on roller coasters and other attractions, as well as general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance work on various attractions, including wooden rides and other carpentry-related tasks.
  • Work safely at heights using lifts and climb roller coasters as needed.
  • Provide excellent guest service according to Cedar Fair standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work areas and report any unsafe conditions to supervision.
  • Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements and adhere to company rules and policies.
Requirements:
  • Union Journeyman's card as a Carpenter in good standing.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting.
  • Not afraid of heights and able to lift and carry materials.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Pass a mandatory drug test and background check, if applicable.
