Certification and Training

Candidates must hold current certifications in ACLS and BLS. Additionally, they should have experience with specimen photography and radiography, as well as intraoperative consults and tissue procurement for research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dissection, description, and histologic sampling of surgical specimens
  • Procure tissue for tumor banking and research studies
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve problems related to surgical pathology
  • Assist with accessioning and labeling specimens
  • Help with orientation and training of new staff members
Work Environment

Candidates will work in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Shift and Schedule

The position is available for 5x8 shifts, with a mix of day and night shifts. Candidates must be flexible and able to work a variety of schedules, including weekends and holidays.
