About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Linesight. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services to our clients while maintaining a strong focus on cost control and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation to analysis and reporting
  • Manage the change management process, identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes that affect project costs
  • Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
  • Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims to ensure clients receive best value from works undertaken
  • Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
  • Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to the team
  • Support nimble project management and clear decision-making through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
  • Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
  • Foster top performance and growth for employees through excellent mentorship and leadership
Requirements
  • Experience as a senior cost manager, ideally from a consultancy background with experience on Data Center projects
  • Chartered or on the path to complete it; we can help
  • Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage own priorities and deadlines
  • Strong relationships with the team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
