We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading technical projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and support staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure project success.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial performance, and loss prevention, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations, communicating complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Soil Science, Geology, or related field, with a preferred geotechnical engineering concentration.
  • Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting, construction material inspections, and laboratory testing.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction phase testing and inspection, including subgrade preparation, foundation installation inspection, fill placement testing, retaining wall construction oversight, soil stabilization oversight, concrete sampling and testing, reinforcing steel inspection, communicating with contractors, and daily report preparation.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in an office setting, as required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle.
  • Current or past American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field testing technician certificate, accredited construction inspection/materials testing certificates, OSHA 40, OSHA 10, and/or American Portable Nuclear Gauge Association (APNGA) gauge training a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with metric and English tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to understand general computer commands and learn supporting software for entering field data, laboratory data, timesheets, etc.
  • Ability to use common geotechnical software programs for foundation, slope stability, retaining wall, and pavement designs.
  • Independent and critical thinking.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and with team members.
  • Superior organizational and delegation ability.
  • Proficient in available mapping websites for due diligence and site investigation purposes.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD, bluebeam, or similar software to assist in the production of site plan drawings.
  • Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals.
  • Knowledge of the planning and zoning process.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team-oriented environment with a focus on technical expertise to deliver high-quality results within project timelines.
