Job Summary

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster III - WC to join our team. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for examining, investigating, and settling workers' compensation insurance claims in a prompt and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of workers' compensation claims, including contacting injured workers, medical providers, and employer representatives to gather information and determine claim validity.
  • Medical Bill Review: Review and analyze medical bills to ensure charges are related to the workers' compensation injury and in accordance with the treatment plan.
  • Payment Processing: Ensure timely payment of medical bills and income replacement in accordance with applicable fee schedules and statutes.
  • Claimant Communication: Respond to questions and concerns from claimants, policyholders, and medical providers regarding claim status.
  • Litigation Management: Collaborate with attorneys to manage litigation, develop settlement strategies, and resolve claims.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Workers Comp adjuster
  • MS Office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
