Theatre Artist

Pacific Ridge School is seeking a talented and experienced theatre artist to join our team as a Musical Director and Choreographer for our middle school production of Priscilla Dreams the Answer.

• Take full responsibility for the musical and dance elements of the middle school production.
• Collaborate with the Arts Department Producer and the director of the play to create, teach, and manage the musical and dance elements of the production.
• Attend production meetings as mutually agreed upon by the director of the play, the Arts Department Producer, and all relevant design personnel.
• Teach the play's music to the student-actors and prepare them musically and vocally for performances.
• Enthusiastically and compassionately coach, direct, and collaborate with all students involved in the production to ensure a positive, challenging, and educational experience.
• Maintain a safe, supportive working environment for all students and staff, free from physical danger, harassment, and bullying.

• Demonstrated skill and experience in musical theatre, musical direction, and choreography.
• Experience in educational theatre.
• Ability to pass a background check.
