Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Selector to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of products for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Read customer orders from label screens and select products by slot and description.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
  • Attach labels on products.
  • Operate an electric pallet jack to transport products to the dock area for staging.
  • Handle products with care and report any damage to a supervisor.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and assist with facility cleaning.
Requirements
  • Must be at least the legal age.
  • 0-1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Frequently lift products weighing 10-75 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
  • Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
  • Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
  • Work in extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
  • Work on your feet for 10-12 hours daily.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
  • 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
  • 1 year of selection experience.
  • 2 years of consistent work history preferred.
