As a Nurse Leader on our Medical Surgical Unit, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of dedicated nurses. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team, working weekends only.
Key Responsibilities- Assign and direct nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, ensuring effective patient care and unit operations.
- Contribute to performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop patient care assignments, ensuring population-appropriate care.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
- Evaluate patient care effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Respond to patient complaints and manage through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, and developing staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of registered nurse experience.
