Essential Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the commercial aviation sector.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English, with the ability to understand and apply information from technical manuals.
  • Capable of documenting maintenance activities on required forms.
  • Familiarity with design techniques, principles, tools, and instruments used in creating and utilizing precise technical plans, blueprints, and models.
  • Proficient use of FAA-approved data, including IPC, AMM, OHM, and SRM.
  • Experience with aircraft types such as B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, MD88/90, DC-9, and A319/320, along with their respective engines.
  • Commitment to safety in all operational processes and procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint-based Criminal History Records check prior to employment.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting at least 70 pounds.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • As per FAA regulations, candidates for safety-sensitive positions must undergo drug testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections, tests, repairs, maintenance, and servicing of aircraft.
  • Interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to assess the feasibility and methods for repairing or replacing malfunctioning components.
  • Modify aircraft structures, systems, or components according to engineering orders and technical publications.
  • Perform visual inspections during assembly and after the repair or installation of components.
  • Conduct operational checks post-maintenance to ensure proper functionality.
  • Examine and troubleshoot engines and other components for any signs of damage or leaks.
  • Disassemble and inspect parts for wear and defects.
  • Assemble and install various components using hand and power tools.
  • Adjust and calibrate aircraft systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Test engine and system operations with testing equipment.
  • Service and maintain aircraft systems in accordance with FAA-approved technical data.
  • Research FAA technical data to find relevant information for assigned tasks.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
