Qualifications
  • Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant Program, with a curriculum that includes pharmacology and medication administration. Certification or registry must be achieved by the end of the sixth month of employment, accompanied by a signed education agreement. Acceptable certifications include CMA, CCMA, RMA, and others as specified.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire as CMA, RMA, or CCMA is required.
  • Additional Skills: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete both generic and department-specific skills validation and competency assessments.
