The Care Staff plays a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents. Under the guidance of the Resident Services Director (RSD), you will be responsible for delivering personalized care services in our Assisted Living and Ensemble areas, fostering a warm and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with residents and colleagues in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate records of care, including resident service plans and documentation of services rendered.
- Familiarize yourself with resident service plans and ensure all services provided are documented appropriately.
- Collaborate closely with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care for residents.
- Promote a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Support the operational activities and programming within the neighborhood.
- Perform additional duties as assigned – refer to the complete job description for details.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of relevant healthcare experience.
- Successful completion of required dementia training in communities with an Ensemble Program.
- Clear Criminal Background Screening.
- Compliance with the Company Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR and first aid certification preferred, as mandated by state regulations.
- Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) credentials, if applicable, in good standing.
- Familiarity with computerized resident documentation systems is advantageous.
