About the Position

We are looking for a Disability Advocate to join our team in Layton, UT. As a Disability Advocate, you will work closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them achieve their goals and live independently.

The estimated salary for this position is $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits to full-time employees, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401k plan.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Disability Advocate will include:

  • Providing individualized support to people with disabilities in their own homes and in the community.
  • Developing and implementing personalized plans to help individuals achieve their goals.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Encouraging socialization and community involvement.
  • Documenting progress and communicating with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Pass a background check and drug test.
  • No prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time and part-time opportunity, with flexibility in scheduling. We have shifts available around the clock, including grave shifts and evening shifts.
