Position Summary:

The Lead Project Scheduler plays a pivotal role in managing Project Controls practices across MasTec Industrial's portfolio, offering specialized knowledge in Scheduling and assisting Project Managers with their reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert in Scheduling
  • Facilitate Project Planning Sessions
  • Develop resource and commodity loading schedules
  • Provide training and mentorship to the Scheduling Team
  • Oversee Project Controls throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as coverage for Project Controls Managers during their absence
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years of experience in Project Controls Schedule Analysis is preferred
  • Professional Certification (AACE, PMI, or equivalent) is advantageous
  • In-depth understanding of Workface Planning Techniques
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Expertise in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Project Controls software
  • Capability to ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations on projects
  • Strong organizational and team-building abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
Physical Demands
  • Stamina to work 12-hour shifts in diverse conditions
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy items
  • Adherence to safety regulations, including working at heights
  • Good balance and visual acuity are essential

Hours: This is a Full-Time position, typically requiring 50 hours per week, subject to project demands.

Travel: Up to 90% travel is necessary, including presence at Project Site locations and occasional travel.
