Orthodontic Care Specialist

At myOrthos, we are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Care Specialist to join our team in Darien. This role will require occasional travel to Trumbull, if necessary.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong Microsoft Office abilities, and a flexible attitude. They will be responsible for facilitating a great patient experience by building strong relationships between the patient and the practice.
The duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Communicating treatment options and preparing financial and insurance arrangements with patients
- Ensuring a smooth and seamless patient experience
- Assisting with financial arrangements and coordination of appointments
- Managing consultation reports and progress
- Working with the clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow
- Adhering to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient records
The required skills and abilities for this role include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Flexible and willing to perform duties of others in their absence
- Attention to detail and familiarity with orthodontic software programs, particularly Cloud9
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Taking impressions and digital scans. ITero or similar scanner proficiency preferred
