Overview

Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider that offers a range of inpatient and outpatient services. We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Ambulatory Care Coordinator.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled RN to take on a leadership role, coordinating nursing staff schedules and measuring employee performance. You'll also assist with training new staff members and developing existing ones.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule nursing staff to specific shifts based on past utilization trends.
  • Measure employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members.
  • Coordinate the activities of the unit during a particular shift and direct organize and assign work to the nursing staff.
  • Assess monitor and educate the nursing staff on patient care.
  • Institute emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Provide nursing care to patients on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

• Must hold current valid Arizona or compact RN state license.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for healthcare provider certificate.

• Two years RN experience in a medical setting taking vitals assisting with medical examinations completing patient assessments and care plans and working on quality measures.
