Electrical Systems Specialist

Heico Construction Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for performing installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Locate and diagnose issues in the electrical system or equipment.
  • Identify circuits and connect to network equipment.
  • Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions.
  • Perform troubleshooting of network hardware and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
  • Mentor assigned apprentices and oversee the safe operation of tools and equipment, electrical principles, and applicable codes.
  • Complete required service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor costs for the assigned work in conjunction with the account manager or service manager.
  • Maintain availability for after-hours on-call work rotation.
  • Perform other project-related duties and assignments as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure all work is performed within the confines of Heico Construction Group's safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of five years of experience performing similar primary responsibilities.
  • Possess a current/active driver's license.
  • Proficiency in mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.
  • Proficiency in basic electrical theory and its application to installations.
  • Maintain a neat and professional image, wearing company-issued shirts, approved work pants, and work boots.
  • Electrical Journeyman's License, preferred.
