Job Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, prioritizing patient safety and well-being. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.

Unit-Specific Information:
The ICU is a fast-paced environment with a high level of acuity. The team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to critically ill patients. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including EPIC computer charting and Omnicell medication dispensing systems. The team is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive work environment, prioritizing patient and staff well-being.

Requirements:
At least two years of Critical Care experience. RN licensure for the State of Georgia or multi-state compact license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS. Four(4) 0 (AM) and Six PM) Every other weekend. Floating to other units/departments is expected, including CVICU, Neuro, SICU, STU, MICU. Navy Blue scrubs are required. Completion of a three-day preceptor-based orientation to the ICUs is mandatory. Adheres to all WMCG policies and procedures. Has an understanding of basic expectations for covering ICUs, including being pulled to any of the aforementioned departments. Is able to multi-task and understands that they will be caring for ICU patients as well as patients awaiting transfer to Intermediate or Acute levels of care.

Compensation Information:
$17.00 / Hourly - $20.00 / Hourly
