Job Title: Affordable Housing Advocate

Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Affordable Housing Advocate to join our team at Harborlight Community Partners. The successful candidate will provide advocacy services to residents, guide them on service availability, application processes, and client rights, and ensure they receive the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for residents and promote resident independence
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for residents and their families when needed
  • Prepare and submit reports, maintain databases, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling or related field preferred or 2-3 years related work experience in social service environment
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency
