Job Summary:

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our distribution center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of merchandise, managing a team of warehouse associates, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise the workflow of warehouse associates to ensure timely and accurate processing of merchandise.
  • Monitor and analyze work processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including DEA regulations.
  • Coach and develop warehouse associates to improve their skills and performance.
  • Oversee the receipt and processing of merchandise, including counting, weighing, and identifying items.
  • Manage the shipping process, including double-checking and shipping controlled substances.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery processes, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials shipped.
  • Interact with customers to resolve delivery or order-filling issues.
  • Ensure the maintenance of highly detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of directly related and progressively responsible experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Good decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and on-call rotations.
  • Proficiency in operating a reach truck.
