We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our dedicated team at Hendersonville Medical Center. This role is essential in providing high-quality care in our Critical Care Unit (CCU).
Certification Requirements- ACLS Certification
- Specialty: RN
- Hospital: Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center
- Location: Critical Care Unit
- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients
- Unit Staffing: Unit secretary available on days & nights, with occasional tech assistance
- Equipment Used: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in critical care
- Minimum of 1 year critical care experience
- Experience with Meditech
- ACLS and NIH certification
- Ability to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular & vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
- Procedures performed on unit include bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol
- Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, including 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
- Floating Policy: Contract labor floats before core staff
- Unit Name: CCU
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
