The ideal candidate will exhibit self-motivation, a rapid learning ability, patience, and the capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments.
This role is classified as hybrid, requiring on-site presence for in-person meetings as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive documentation to illustrate processing logic for various business operations.
- Analyze business needs and convert them into detailed specifications.
- Document corrective measures, draft user instructions, and prepare necessary documentation to facilitate job functions.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the IT department, programming teams, and internal stakeholders utilizing IT services.
- Engage in all facets of user consultation, business analysis, systems design, vendor agreements, and detailed specification creation.
- Conduct research, compile reports, and provide information to support decision-making processes.
- Create and implement testing plans, document outcomes, and secure quality assurance approvals.
- Assist in educating users on the effective use of business applications and general software.
- Collaborate with external software vendors as necessary to support acquired business solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- One to three years of experience in a comparable role.
- Familiarity with XML data is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of various business application systems, hardware, and programming technologies.
- Proficient understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office suite, current internet browsers, email, and business applications in a networked setting.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Maintain and troubleshoot assigned systems and programs.
- Strong capability in defining the business requirements of insurance clients, system users, or regulatory reporting needs relevant to the industry.
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and sound decision-making abilities.
