About the Role

The Medical Imaging Operations Manager performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in performing standard examinations in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries. This role supervises technical and non-technical staff in designated areas with an emphasis on productivity, efficiency, customer service, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise technical and non-technical staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Demonstrate quality patient care by attending to patients' comfort needs and demonstrating concern for their spiritual and emotional needs.
  • Tactfully communicate with patients, departments, and employees to resolve concerns and improve relationships.
  • Maintain a productive and friendly work environment to aid in staff retention.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required.
  • RT(R)(ARRT) certification required with advanced registry as/if appropriate to modality(s) managed.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
