Position Overview: We are currently seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists to join our dedicated team within the Ventilator Management Unit. This role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory care to residents requiring specialized attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' cardiopulmonary conditions using clinical evaluation techniques, medical history analysis, and diagnostic tests to develop effective respiratory care plans as directed by physicians.
- Administer and monitor various therapeutic modalities, ensuring adherence to established protocols and physician orders, including but not limited to: positive pressure breathing, nebulization therapy, chest physiotherapy, and suctioning procedures.
- Oversee and maintain life support systems, ensuring optimal airway management and effective operation of mechanical ventilators.
- Document and evaluate the efficacy of respiratory treatments, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide technical respiratory care, including the precise administration of medications and the operation of respiratory equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of respiratory equipment, ensuring functionality and safety standards are met.
