Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our healthcare team at Align ENT & Allergy in Philadelphia/NJ. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals experiencing hearing challenges.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometric tests and other diagnostic tools to identify hearing and balance disorders.
  • Consulting with patients to discuss test results, explain diagnoses, and recommend appropriate treatment options.
  • Developing customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapeutic interventions.
  • Providing expert guidance on selecting, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids for optimal comfort and performance.
  • Counseling and supporting patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Staying up-to-date with advancements in audiology research, technology, and best practices.
  • PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT HEARING HEALTH AND PROMOTE PREVENTIVE MEASURES.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program, state licensure and certification as an Audiologist, strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, compassion and empathy for individuals with hearing challenges, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
