About the Role

Woodard & Curran is a leading engineering, science, and operations firm dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for clean water, a safe environment, and healthy communities. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our South Region Wastewater/Water Team and multi-discipline project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project tasks' financial and technical delivery, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Function as the technical lead for all sizes of projects, interacting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support discipline leads in determining technical approaches for specific tasks.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and/or external clients/professional societies.
  • Support the pursuit of new projects in concert with the Business Development Team.
  • Provide input on developing Woodard & Curran design or technical guidelines and standards.
Requirements
  • Substantial project and technical management expertise in civil and environmental engineering.
  • In-depth understanding of engineering concepts associated with municipal wastewater/water systems.
  • 12+ years of experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing wastewater/water engineering projects.
  • Lead technical engineer for at least 3+ wastewater/water treatment facility designs.
  • Substantial Florida wastewater/water project experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (or ability to apply for reciprocity within 6 months of hire).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technological advances, regulatory trends, equipment, and processes.
  • Ability to support and/or lead strategic initiatives to develop and expand business opportunities.
  • Well-versed in state and local regulations regarding wastewater/water treatment and collection/distribution systems.
  • Knowledgeable in Florida bidding laws and SRF programs.
  • Superior writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach, mentor, and train individuals.
