About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Whitaker Road Dental. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental hygiene services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in MI and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
