Cyber Systems Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Security Engineer to join our team at Butler America Aerospace, LLC. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing cyber-attack surfaces and implementing relevant cybersecurity controls on our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cybersecurity maintenance, including continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening.
  • Provide cybersecurity oversight to our Systems and Software teams and ensure the necessary documentation and artifacts are in place to support and maintain any Authority to Operate (ATO) for our products.
  • Assess and mitigate System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle.
  • Implement System Security Engineering solutions, including hardware and software.
  • Verify the implementation of system security requirements.
  • Analyze weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and threats against System Security posture on product designs.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, systems security, systems analysis and design, and familiarity with STIGs and system hardening.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS, and Software Assurance Tools (SAST and DAST).
Desired Experience:
  • 3-5 years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
  • 3-5 years of systems engineering experience.
  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
