About the Role
We seek an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout the labor and delivery process, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe arrival of newborns into the world.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assess progress during labor, and assist with pain management techniques to ensure a safe and comfortable birthing experience.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized birth plans and interventions.
- Assist with childbirth, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures, adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Educate and support mothers and their families during the postpartum period, providing breastfeeding assistance, newborn care instruction, and emotional support for the transition to parenthood.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
Compensation and Benefits
$2,481.80 per week plus additional benefits through TotalMed, including housing, licensure, relocation, and continuing education opportunities.
