Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Boise Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing EEG procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working with a variety of patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform EEG procedures in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Work with patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult patients
  • Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an EEG Technologist
  • Experience with long-term monitoring and ICU settings
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports

Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with start times of 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Self-scheduling is allowed, with a set schedule of either M-W or Th-Sat. Once a quarter, the traveler would flip to the other rotation.

Unit Specific Information: The department has 2 bed outpatient lab, 10 portable machines, 3 bed adult EMU, and 2 bed peds EMU. Service all 3 hospitals, with training at each site.
