Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service
• Engage in service recovery when necessary, supporting a patient-first philosophy
• Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives
