About the RoleCaring Transitions of Augusta is seeking a skilled Auction Pickup Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless auction pickup experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Item Pickup and Accuracy: Verify that all auction items are correctly identified and matched with winning bidders, ensuring safe and accurate handling to minimize the risk of damage.
- Customer Service: Communicate with winning bidders to confirm pickup times and provide clear instructions, assisting them during the pickup process and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Property Protection: Supervise the handling of items to ensure the property is protected and no damage occurs, following best practices for packing and transporting items to prevent damage.
- Documentation: Take detailed notes on the pickup process, documenting any issues or discrepancies, and report any concerns or feedback to management.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Other Requirements: Driver's License (Required) and ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or evenings, as needed for auction events.
