Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

Palm Careers LLC is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education to ensure a positive experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensure by the State of Texas as a Radiology CT Tech.
  • CT certification or eligibility for CT certification by the Texas Department of Health.
  • At least 3 years of experience in CT scanning, with at least 1 year of experience in quality assurance.
  • Certification by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
