Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in processing samples and specimens in a medical laboratory setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities will include scanning samples into the system, performing data entry, processing and sorting samples, and packaging them up in the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scanning samples into the system and performing data entry
• Processing and sorting samples in the laboratory
• Preparing laboratory specimens for analysis
• Researching and resolving customer and specimen problems
• Assisting clients with specimen-related requests and inquiries
• Processing specimens to be sent out to additional facilities
• Providing support to various areas of the laboratory
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Work experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High School Diploma or GED required
