Edgemont Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as providing postpartum care to new mothers and their babies.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients during labor and delivery, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
